Finally!! Today after I came back home mommy told me the big news, WZ walked around outside in HIS SHOES!
WZ recognizes people already, tell him Daddy and he looks and points at me, mommy and he points at his mother. But the thing is, he can't SAY daddy or mommy. Instead what does he say? He just keeps saying Ah Maa (grandma in cantonese) whenever he wants to refer to someone.
WZ is showing evidence that he's actually understanding what we're telling him, first of all he's now able to perform the 2 step process to store a spring loaded auto deploy light.
As you can see, mommy was especially delighted that WZ was able to handle the thing. Then there's this incident, where WZ is able to retrieve wat I ask him to!
I'm sure you can figure out why the toy is given such a name when you finish the video.
Here's WZ's outdoor adventure (or lack of) on video.
And here we go.. WZ has finally started walking! Problem is he's still a bit scared at times so the moment he sees something he can balance on he DARTS towards it.
Definitive evidence that WZ is gonna be fighting for food when he get's older. Pay attention to how he grabs grandpa's arm when he feeds him.
WZ is trying to walk right now, he can walk quite fast, but he's just scared to let go of the railings. Of course it doesn't always work out when he pushes stuff around.
Ok... here we go... the start of the end.
Only a matter of time till he starts to asking questions about everything, or complain about everything.
As evident from this video, WZ has pretty much figured out that crying=things go his way of course I'm not one to give in that easily to what he wants.
An interesting thing to note is the buttoned shirt that WZ is wearing as a jacket, that's hand made by his 80+ year old great grand mother! It seems that shirts like that are quite in demand by the older generation because one time in One Utama this old lady sprinted across the shopping mall just to ask if the shirt WZ was wearing was handmade or bought. And she seemed pretty disappointed when I said it was handmade.
My father says I shouldn't do swing WZ so high, mommy says WZ gets scared when I do this... he looks like he enjoying it.
Wow... adrenalin numbs pain I see.
